How this website works
Cookie policy
Last updated: 20 October 2026
This policy covers the New York Bride website at preview1.byqbit.com. It explains the cookies used to provide the website and its enquiry form. For how we use personal information, read our privacy policy.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files a website asks your browser to store. They can keep a session working across page requests. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage.
Cookies used by this website
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
QBITSID90f1b6c7f5374235(Qbit session cookie) | First-party session identifier used for form security, request state and, for authorised staff, CMS sign-in. The identifier does not contain your enquiry text. | Session cookie; normally removed when the browser session ends, subject to your browser’s session-restore settings. |
qbit_cms_remember | First-party sign-in cookie used only when an authorised CMS user chooses to be remembered. Ordinary visitors do not need this cookie. | Up to 30 days; may be renewed during remembered sign-in and cleared on sign-out. |
These cookies support requested website or staff sign-in functions and are treated as strictly necessary for those functions. The public theme does not add advertising cookies, third-party analytics cookies or a marketing tracker.
Fonts, page counts and external links
The website loads typefaces from Google Fonts. Google states that its Fonts API does not set or log cookies. Font requests still send technical information to Google; this is explained in our privacy policy and Google’s Fonts privacy information.
The CMS can record server-side page counts and visit information without adding a separate analytics cookie. Server records are covered by the privacy policy. Websites reached through external links have their own cookie and privacy arrangements.
Google Map
The contact page automatically loads an interactive Google Map. Opening that page connects your browser to Google, which receives your IP address and technical request information and may set or access cookies for its mapping service. Google’s cookie names and lifetimes depend on its service and your Google settings. You can manage cookies through your browser settings. See Google’s cookie information and Google’s privacy policy.
Your choices
You can use your browser’s settings to view, block or delete cookies, including first-party cookies. Blocking the session cookie may prevent the enquiry form or CMS sign-in from working correctly. Deleting a remembered-sign-in cookie signs that browser out of remembered access.
We do not ask you to accept optional advertising or analytics cookies because the current theme does not use them. The embedded Google Map loads automatically on the contact page, as described above. If optional technologies are introduced, this policy and the relevant consent controls will need to be updated before they are used where consent is required.
